"Raise your words, not your voice, it is rain that grows flowers not thunder.”

Rumi

I believe in using my voice to bring people together around shared goals of improving the wellbeing of all individuals and communities. My approach to advocacy and social change includes active listening, humility, sharing lived experiences, and providing evidence-based information.

My work as an advocate has involved connecting with local, national, and international organizations to advance mental health awareness, specifically eating disorders, body image concerns, and related issues.
